Many pets get nervous or scared during Halloween. With all the noise, the doorbell ringing from trick or treaters, masks, and costumes and Halloween decorations; it can all freak out your pet. Try to isolate your pet from strange smells by confining them in a safe room filled with toys to play with. It is a good idea to keep kids away from the pet during this time. Remember to keep any Halloween treats safely out of reach. By taking these steps and other precautions you can insure a safe and stress-reduced Halloween for both you and your pet.
