Tips to keep your dog safe on a boat:

1. Buy a doggie life jacket

2. Make sure you have a life preserver or life ring handy

3. Gradually introduce your dog to water

4. Practice with your dog to insure he is a strong swimmer

5. Keep your dog on a leash on the boat

6. Gradually introduce your dog to the boat

7. Bring fresh water

8. Keep your dog protected from the sun

9. Watch out for sharks and jelly fish

10. Rinse your dog off with fresh water afterwards
