Acute moist pyoderma is the condition which is also commonly known as hot spots in dogs. Hot spots are the type of responsive patches on the skin of dog due to a preliminary irritation caused by certain flea bites, mosquito bite, or heat. Further, dogs are likely to nibble and nick the area that makes it susceptible to tenderness and diseases of skin.
