If your pet becomes dehydrated it is important to treat that pet immediately. One critical item to look for is loss of skin’s flexibility as this is the primary indication of a dehydrating condition in pets. The pets that are apparently dehydrated needs instant water and fluids which may need to be administered by a vet if the pet is unable to drink. If the animal is not vomiting, an electrolyte mixture by bottle or syringe should help.
