Unfortunately there are many bad vets out there. A bad vet may not have the experience or training for certain procedures or may just make the wrong medical decision. You may contact the FDA’s CVM (Center for Veterinary Medicine). There are also several animal rights groups which may offer guidance to you on appropriate channels and legal action. You can always contact the local news agency or state attorney general of your area.
