Today a woman came into my vet office with her dead dog. She was crying and screaming hysterically. I felt so bad because there was nothing I could do and multiple resuscitation attempts failed. It is days like this that being a vet is very hard. If only she had been able to get the dog to me sooner, maybe there is something I could have done.
